I am interested in the spectacle of Seoul and collect scenes with events in mind. The photo book is 『Motel Dream Palace』. Currently working at a bookstore.

Lim Hyo-jin, a veteran Seoul citizen and photographer who has never studied photography, walked the streets of Seoul from 2017 to yesterday, taking pictures of things she was drawn to on the streets as if writing a diary (journal). Some of them are collected in this book, 『Seoul Journal』. His photos are like laughter coming from the cold but funny, bustling but desolate scenes of Seoul. I started to edit Lim Hyo-jin's photos in a playful way, which were either cynical or architectural, but were strangely romantic. ‘Image’ taken with a camera, ‘image’ taken with a mobile phone, ‘image’ taken with an ‘image’, ‘image’ taken with an ‘image’ and the real thing, ‘image’ taken with a person taking an ‘image’, ‘image’ taken with a ‘image’ on a wall. 'Images', as author Lim Hyo-jin once said, 'images' that 'volatilized' on Instagram were all mixed up and became an unrealistic 'image' of Seoul in this book that seemed like something you had seen around you but did not seem like you had seen it before. Since I sometimes went on business trips to rural areas, there are also a few pictures of local areas.
