While she was studying Fine Arts in school, Myokahara wanted to draw her favorite anime characters when she was a kid. She usually draws illustrations using anime characters. Born in the 90's, she loves fashion and culture from the 90's and that is naturally exposed in her paintings.
Her recent work is a paper doll using Sailor Moon characters. She interpreted her style using the most representative animation in the 90s. Sailor Moon transformed to American teenager, sexy Mars and a model student in school, Mercury, are transformed into a funk rock band members, and Jupiter into a biker in the 90's and Venus has transformed into a cyber funk warrior. Representing familiar things in new ways is the subject of her works.
Indirectly expressing herself by mixing primitive colors and funk or gothic elements by projecting one's timid and inexpressible self onto bold and confident girls is Myokahara’s feature.
