A piece that can be used as a scarf, ‘Yaloocharm series Yaloohouse, Yes, Sebum! 1,2’ was introduced in the artist’s private exhibition 'Yaloohouse-Yes, Sebum!' at Whistle in 2017. The scarf uses the tools of Virtual Reality to collage numerous images. I appropriated this method that Korean cosmetic industry uses to lure the consumers in to my work. I printed two different types of scarves in silk with a finishing touch using hand hemming, and there are 30 editions each.
Yaloo currently lives in Chicago and presents diverse works in exhibitions held in the United States, Belgium, Japan, and Korea. The artist observes how the mass media effect the consumers via Virtual Reality Equipment. The images made with this process are duplicated or transformed, to becomes a collage. The
completed videos or images are projected or are transformed into a diverse medium such as VR, skype, etc.
